Question: Do you have finance options ?

Question: What payment options do you accept ?
Answer: 50% deposit on confirmation of order, then the full amount paid on delivery. Unless pre organised with bank or finance company.
 
Question: Do you deliver ?
Answer: Yes we can arrange to have vehicles shipped \ transported at your cost. Or free delivery within 50km of Hamilton City.
 
Question: Can I test drive or view the vehicle before buying ?
Answer: Yes, you may have a no obligation test drive. Please provide a current NZ drivers license and one other form of ID for insurance purposes.

Question: What sort of servicing does an electric car require ?
Answer: Electric cars require significantly less servicing than their petrol powered counterparts.

Question: Who can service my electric car ?
Answer: Excluding the batteries the rest of your electric car can be serviced at any reputable mechanical workshop \ garage approved by
Clarksun Enterprises Ltd. Contact us for approved repairers.
 
Question: Where can I buy spare parts ?
Answer: Clarksun Enterprises Ltd are sole supply agents for New Zealand and can supply all required parts for these vehicles.
 
Question: What is cost to replace the lithium ion batteries ?
Answer: Our manufacturer is currently putting together pricing for replacement batteries, we will update this info to our site as soon as possible.

Remember your lithium ion batteries are covered for 5 years under our warranty.

Safety

Question: What is EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) ?
Answer: This works in conjunction with the ABS (Antilock Brake System) to provide safer stopping in emergency situations.

Question: What is the safety rating of these cars
Answer: Our cars are currently going through safety tests in preparation for approval for use on New Zealand roads.

Charging

Question: How long does it take to charge the car ?
Answer: A full charge using household singe phase 15 amp power outlet takes 4-7 hours depending on vehicle model.

Once charging stations are established in New Zealand it will be possible to fast charge your vehicle in under 30 minutes.
 
Question: How much does it cost to fully charge the car ?
Answer: This varies between vehicles and consumers individual electricity plans but the average cost to obtain a full charge will be around $5. This equates to around 3.1 cents per KM*

*based on minimum 160 kms range per charge
 
Question: How do I charge the car at home ?
Answer: Vehicles are charged using single phase 15 amp power outlet. AN electrician will need to verify that your outlet is rated at 15 amps or higher.

Question: How much does it cost to fully charge the car ?
Answer: This varies between vehicles and consumers individual electricity plans but the average cost to obtain a full charge will be around $5. This equates to around 3.1 cents per KM*
